A story of Faith, Love, Redemption and Salvation

Daniel’s Lot is a story of Faith, Love, Redemption and Salvation.  Set in contemporary Central Florida, Daniel Carr is an ordinary guy leading an ordinary life, trying sincerely to be obedient to God and sincerely trying to be  good provider for his family.  Along the way, Daniel’s father leaves him a piece of commercial real estate that could be the answer to the family’s money problems. But before his death, Daniel’s father insists he must not sell the property “until the time is right.”

Daniel’s frustrated wife, Christina, who is failing in her own real estate career due to the market in recession, believes the time could never be more right than now to sell. The family’s home is in jeopardy because they are four months behind in mortgage payments.  Daniel believes otherwise and stubbornly refuses to go along with her protestations because he feels he hasn’t yet heard from God on the matter.   As the couple’s financial woes mount, Daniel holds to his belief and it looks as if it will cost him his job, his marriage and possibly even his faith in God.

A chance meeting, however, with a local Pastor (Emmy-award winnder, Gary Burghoff, of TV's M*A*S*H), seems to encourage Daniel to go even further in the “wrong” direction as he encourages Daniel to keep listening for God.  His determination renewed, Daniel holds to his faith – even as everything around him seems to hit rock bottom – leaving a question:  Will Daniel’s obedience to God cost him everything?

Some movies will entertain you and some movies will touch you, but this film will change how you view your relationship with God. What do you do when being obedient to God and listening to His direction seems  to be taking you down a dead-end path?

Daniel’s Lot, from the pen of Florida author De Miller, is now a full-length motion picture from Faith & Power Pictures in association with Lazarus FilmWorks.
