Gary Burghoff

Gary Burghoff portrays a local Pastor named William Mahoney who has a knack for showing up just at the moment Daniel feels his problems are about to overwhelm him.   It seems that each time Daniel is at his breaking point, God orchestrates a chance meeting with Pastor Mahoney to encourage Daniel to not give up.

Gary, is best known for playing the character of Corporal Walter Eugene “Radar” O’Reilly in the hit TV series M*A*S*H, as well as starring in the 1967 off-Broadway Musical You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown.   He’s also often fondly remembered as a regular on TV game show “The Match Game“, among others, and also brings a smile to those who remember him as the “the Gulf Guy” in Gulf Petroleum TV commercials.

Gary’s recent autobiography “Gary Burghoff: To M*A*S*H and Back: My Life in Poems and Songs”  (published by BearManor Media ISBN # 1-59393-343-6) is a top-seller as he recounts his journey seeking the Lord.

Gary came out of retirement in 2009 to star in Daniel’s Lot and those who have been on the cast and crew, as well as those who have seen an advance preview of the movie agree that his presence in film is a true Blessing!
